our mission
each week more families need food baskets
B”H Miami Kosher Food Bank is a non-profit organization(501C3).
Our mission is to help people in need with the basic necessities of life while preserving their dignity.
Miami Kosher Food Bank distributes food boxes, which serves about 500 people weekly.
These include orphans, widows, single mothers, sick and elderly, and large families in times of challenge.
Families are referred to our organization by Rabbi’s, community leaders, Chabad Houses, psychologists and social workers.
The boxes consist of fresh fruits and vegetables, bread, chicken, fish, Challah, and wine/ grape juice for Shabbat.
For Pesach, the necessities provided also include: Shmurah Matza, meat and wine.
We also distribute food boxes for Rosh Hashana, Sukkot, Simchat Torah and Shavuot.
In addition to the food bank, we also run a discounted not for profit food store known as Miami Kosher Supermarket which serves over 1,000 families.
